JINX JAZZ BAND is jazz in its purest form! Traditional Black music from the 1920s and 1930s, the authentic jazz of New Orleans (USA) from the early 20th century, also known as "traditional jazz" and widely popularized as "Dixieland".

JINX JAZZ BAND brings together musicians from all over the world and was founded in Barcelona in 2002. Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, France, the USA, and Australia are some of the nationalities represented in the band’s history. With a long career spanning over 20 years, the band has always focused its performances on the streets of Barcelona, mainly on Portal de l’Àngel, in the historic center of the city.

Since its foundation, the band has been a member of the Street Musicians Association (AMUC), which allows it to perform in the streets of Barcelona.

JINX JAZZ BAND has also played at various festivals across Spain and Europe, including the Sitges Traditional Jazz Festival, Tarragona Traditional Jazz Festival, Sada, Jaca, Andorra, Murcia, Madrid, and Menorca, among others. In Barcelona, the band has performed in iconic venues such as the Palace of the Generalitat of Catalonia, the MNAC, and has appeared on TV3, TV1, commercials, and various media outlets.
